The Gap

The Gap

The gap is a breach or violation many times from the people responsible for our well being and safety. Abuse finds its victim in schools, sleepovers, boys and girls clubs, playgrounds, churches and broken/dysfunctional homes. Trapped in silence for years well over into adulthood the quality of life can become debilitating and unproductive. Most victims suffer with tremendous anger, un-forgiveness, bitterness and rebellion toward God and authority. Sadly, the cycle is repeated and the very people that were abused have now become abusers themselves. The ultimate result is a longing for acceptance and normalcy. The journey to healing and transformation begins by simply acknowledging the truth: “I’m angry with my abuser”
