The Jacksonville Zoo

An interview with Adrian, a marine science graduate who works as an exhibit guide at The Jacksonville Zoo. I was very intrigued as he educated me on The Laughing Kookaburra named Marcella, who is the largest of the many birds that swarm throughout and over the heads of visitors; I found myself having to duck a few times. Her unique sound is a territorial call that establishes the better place in the exhibit . The Blue-Bellied Roller her competitor is a new addition that’s known for it’s azure- forked blue tail.
